Nick Anthony is a Los Angeles-based multifaceted artist, educator, entrepreneur, consultant, and certified coach.
Raised in a family of artists and small business owners, Nick grew up immersed in the worlds of the performing arts and entrepreneurship through his family’s historic dance school, the Hackworth School of Performing Arts, founded in 1934, and through the influence of several entrepreneurial family members, particularly his parents. Shortly after earning his degree in Entrepreneurship & Business Management from Quinnipiac University in 2010, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in dance and entertainment.
Nick has been represented by Bloc Talent Agency and Clear Talent Group as a performer and choreographer, and by The Movement Talent Agency as a dance educator. His work spans film, television, live performance, and commercial media, with credits including, but not limited to, Arrested Development, Dance Moms, Dr. Ken, Real Life: The Musical, Lindsey Stirling, Neon Trees, Kidz Bop, Disney, Coca-Cola, GAP, and the NBA.
For over 15 years, Nick has traveled nationally and internationally as a dance choreographer and educator, working with over 200 studios, schools, companies, and events across the U.S., Canada, Central America, and Thailand. He is a regular faculty member for organizations including Dance Educators of America (DEA), Dance Masters of America (DMA), American Dance Awards (ADA), Move: The Initiative, and Generation IV (GIV), and has also worked with the likes of Velocity Dance Convention, LA Dance Magic (LADM), Hollywood Dance Jamz (HDJ), and Regional Dance America (RDA), among others.
Nick is the founder and owner of NAKOA Network, a company he started in 2016, through which he has not only provided dance performance, choreography, and education based services, but has also served as a producer, manager, and executive director in supporting various artists and companies with their creative endeavors. Under his NAKOA brand, Nick now leads NAKOA YOUniversity, a coaching and training platform designed to help artists, creatives, and solopreneurs build sustainable careers and aligned lives.
A 2024 graduate of the Jay Shetty Certification School, Nick holds a professional certification in Life and Success Coaching and works with clients through private sessions, group programs, and seminars focused on mindset, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, career strategy, and lifestyle design. When not building and managing his business or serving his clients and community, whether in Los Angeles or on the road, Nick can be found at home in LA with his wife and their two young sons.
