Kim Bakota
Clarity & Growth Coach | Leadership & Business Advisor
Here’s my story...
I started my journey as an organic chemistry major and psychology minor while playing college softball.
Plot twist: that combination of analytical thinking, human behavior, and competitive tenacity became my secret weapon in leadership, business, and coaching.
For 12+ years, I’ve worked shoulder-to-shoulder with executives, sales organizations, and cross-functional teams to build strategies, develop people, solve complex challenges, and drive growth. My career spans media, advertising, event production, experiential marketing, creator-led brands, people leadership, business advisory, and 1:1 coaching.
Different industries. Different audiences. Same mindset.
Today, as a Clarity & Growth Coach and Leadership & Business Advisor, I help leaders, founders, and ambitious professionals cut through the noise, build sustainable momentum, and unlock their next level without burning out in the process.
Because after years of working with high performers, I’ve learned that strategy is rarely the only thing standing in the way.
More often, it’s clarity. Confidence. Energy. Prioritization. Execution. Or knowing exactly what needs to shift and still struggling to make the move.
I’ve helped leaders navigate difficult team dynamics, rethink how they lead, and build confidence in their decision-making. I’ve coached professionals from people-pleasing to self-advocacy, overthinking to action, and waiting for confidence to building it through consistent follow-through.
That’s where my player-coach mentality comes in.
Having played competitive softball for 27 years, I believe in reps, preparation, accountability, and getting back up when things don’t go according to plan. I’m direct, kind, curious, and action-oriented. I’ll stand in your corner, challenge the way you’re looking at the problem, and ask the questions that help turn clarity into movement.
Because sometimes you need a better strategy.
And sometimes you need to trust yourself and make the move.
Whether you’re navigating your next chapter, stepping into leadership, growing a business, developing a team, or simply knowing you’re capable of more, let’s get clear on what you want and what's standing in the way.
Get clear. Trust yourself. Make the move.
